Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Customer Service / Administrative Assistant for a temporary opportunity with a busy organization in Huntington Beach. This position is heavily focused on customer service and inbound phone support, while also assisting with applications, payments, cashiering, and general administrative operations. Type: Temporary / Contract Location: On-Site, Huntington Beach Hours: Mon - Fri 8am-5pm Key Responsibilities: Answer a high volume of inbound calls through a phone queue and assist customers with general questions, requests, and account-related inquiries. Provide friendly, professional customer service while clearly explaining processes, requirements, and next steps. Receive and assist with new customer applications, reviewing information for completeness and accuracy. Route calls, inquiries, and documents to the appropriate staff or department when additional assistance is needed. Support back-office operations, including sorting, organizing, and processing incoming payments. Assist with cashiering and other payment-related clerical duties. Perform data entry, filing, scanning, document organization, and record maintenance. Maintain accurate customer and administrative records. Assist with additional front-office and back-office projects as assigned. Qualifications: Previous customer service, call center, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred. Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and customer inquiries throughout the day. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, patient, and customer-service-oriented demeanor. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
