Cardiovascular Technologist (OR - CVOR Tech) travel assignment in Herrin, Illinois, United States. Start date: 07/06/2026 for a 13-week engagement in a hospital operating room. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,002-$2,153 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 rotating Start date: 07/06/2026 Work setting: hospital operating room (CVOR) Call requirements: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month Responsibilities Assist in transportation and positioning of patients for cardiovascular procedures Prepare the room and equipment: assemble/dismantle tables and instruments, open sterile supplies, and perform skin prep and draping Assist the surgeon by gowning and gloving, passing instruments and sutures, and maintaining instrument and sponge counts Apply dressings and assist in handling specimens as needed Decontaminate instruments and supplies per policy; support efficient turnover of the operating room Restock supplies to ensure readiness for subsequent cases and patient safety Requirements Education: High School diploma or equivalent Certification path: Non-certified – graduate of an OR technician program accredited through ARC/STSA or on-the-job/military training; Certified – NBSTSA or NCCT certification Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required Experience: 6 months of OR tech experience or equivalent specialized training; on-the-job or military training acceptable Ability to work in a surgical operating room environment and support sterile technique and patient care Benefits and Support Travel assignment with dedicated support from a staffing partner Access to assignment-specific support throughout the engagement Frontline engagement on a reputable OR team in a hospital setting Clear, schedule-driven work with guaranteed hours Competitive weekly pay and a defined start date Support for credentialing and onboarding processes as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
