Position Details

We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist who is a quick learner, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset to our team. This role offers a steady two-day-per-week schedule, making it an excellent opportunity for a hygienist seeking work-life balance while being part of a dedicated clinical team.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing preventive and periodontal care
• Maintaining accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Educating patients on oral health and treatment recommendations
• Supporting the dental team to ensure efficient, high-quality patient flow

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Dental Hygienist license
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, reliable, and committed to patient-centered care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all team members

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
