DIRECTOR OF INTEGRATION

COVE Animal Health

Remote | Northeast / Mid-Atlantic Preferred | Full-Time

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Pay: $125,000-$150,000 base salary

Schedule: Typically, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; rare critical evening/weekend needs

Incentives: Annual bonus opportunity

Travel: Approximately 30-50%, project dependent; approved travel expenses and mileage reimbursed

Location: Remote | Northeast/Mid-Atlantic location preferred due to the regional scope of the position and anticipated travel.

WHY COVE ANIMAL HEALTH

COVE is looking for a hands-on integration leader who can earn trust quickly, keep complex work moving, and represent the company well with hospital teams, sellers, vendors, and partners. This role is remote based, with travel driven by each project's scope and stage.

As our Director of Integration, you'll combine veterinary operations experience, acquisition onboarding, and project leadership to move major initiatives from strategy through execution. You'll need to shift comfortably between executive-level conversations and hands-on problem solving, while keeping teams aligned, driving accountability, and maintaining trust along the way.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE | NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Veterinary industry experience with a strong understanding of hospital operations and how veterinary teams work day to day
• Hands-on experience supporting or leading acquisition onboarding and integration
• Proven experience leading and project-managing large, complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
• Ability to build trust quickly and work effectively with hospital leaders, sellers, internal teams, and other stakeholders throughout periods of change
• Ability to travel approximately 30–50% , based on project needs, and work effectively in a remote, project-driven environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS | NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• Experience across multiple veterinary service lines such as GP, ER/Urgent Care, and Specialty
• Experience with de novo hospital openings, relocations, expansions, or system implementations
• Strong executive presence and confidence working directly with sellers, vendors, hospital leaders, and senior stakeholders
• Ability to navigate different personalities and perspectives, influence others, and drive accountability while maintaining trust
• Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution, with adaptability, grit, organization, and communication skills needed to keep complex work moving forward
