**Responsibilities**Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by supervisors to support departmental operations. **Qualifications:** **Education/Experience** Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required. Education or job experience in an office environment is a plus but not required. Education or job experience in event planning, hospitality, journalism, communications, organizational development, marketing and/or public relations is a plus, but not required.**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and congenially in spoken and written English. Ability to speak and write in a second language is a plus but not required. Ability to work effectively in an inclusive and professional environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Intermediate or advanced Canva proficiency is a plus.Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office Professional suite proficiency. Novice or intermediate proficiency in social media platforms. Detail-oriented and diligent to follow-up and complete tasks for assigned projects. A positive, pleasant attitude with good problem-solving skills. **Minimum Qualifications:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate professionally in person, over the telephone, through email and other electronic means, move about the office, the University, and at various off campus sites including overnight travel, handle various type of media and equipment, and visually or otherwise identify, observe, and assess.
