Allergy/Immunology Physician Assistant

APP Cardiology opportunity in O'Fallon, IL Located 17 miles from St. Louis, MO Position Summary: Performs and/or coordinates patient care in area of expertise utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers along the continuum of care. Demonstrates advanced nursing skills through assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex patients in area of specialty. Communicates the plan of care in area of expertise to other members of the interdisciplinary team. Provides care for patients of all ages according to the standards of care specific to the individual's needs. Primary duty includes the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge, in a field of science or learning, and which requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment. Candidate Requirements:

• Masters-Nursing-Required
• Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
• Specialty Certification required. ACLS may be required based on area of practice. Within two years of hire, the APN may be required to obtain their DEA license.
• Illinois license required or candidate must be eligible to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
