Certified Radiology Coding Specialist

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Certified Radiology Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties, ensuring accurate code assignment and compliance with ethical standards. Key responsibilities Apply diagnosis and procedure codes with a focus on Radiology and Pathology services Interpret coding guidelines to ensure accurate coding and reimbursement impact Maintain compliance with ethical coding standards and participate in ongoing training Required qualifications Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
