Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Mount Juliet, Tennessee

Advance your career as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room with a focus on thoracic and vascular procedures at a premier 1000+ bed facility. As part of this highly skilled team, you'll play an essential role in a dynamic surgical environment that manages a broad array of complex cases, including trauma, transplant, and advanced vascular procedures.


Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)
• Days will vary according to unit needs; block schedules not available
• Late stays required based on patient and department requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Tennessee or a compact state (required at the time of application)
• National certification for the specialty, with documentation on file
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in the OR
• Documented thoracic and vascular surgical experience
• Ability to both scrub and circulate in endovascular and complex surgical cases
• Prior travel nursing experience, showing adaptability to new environments
• Proficiency in handling diverse adult patient populations-diagnoses include transplant, trauma/neuro, and more
• Experience with hybrid rooms and advanced technology preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care within a 56-bed OR (inpatient/outpatient) and 5 procedural suites in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Scrub and circulate in a variety of case types: cardiothoracic, vascular, neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, transplant, robotic, and hybrid procedures
• Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams across a range of adult surgical populations (no pediatrics)
• Adapt to fluctuating schedules and float between operating rooms as required
