OVERALL ROLE:
Manufacture quality straps and assemblies in the Strap Production Department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ability to operate various commercial sewing machines.
· Ability to change needles, wind bobbins and thread sewing machines.
· Fold material to be specific lengths to be sewn with the use of rulers and length guides.
· Make accurate measurements as specified on production sheets when needed.
· Maintain accurate counts of pieces manufactured per job.
· Complete required production logs with required information such as time spent and quantity produced.
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
· Report all discrepancies to appropriate supervisors.
· Ability to lift boxes weighing 30 pounds or less.
