Maintenance Technician (Full Time)

Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the car wash facility. This role primarily supports 3rd Shift operations; however, a split 2nd/3rd shift may be scheduled depending on operational needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities Perform general cleaning of the car wash building and surrounding areas, including fueling islands. Clean drain grates and wash pit areas thoroughly and safely. Pressure wash floors and walls to maintain cleanliness standards. Shovel debris and dispose of waste properly by emptying wheelbarrows into dumpster. Ensure wash area is cleaned during 3rd shift as requested, or coordinate cleaning during split shift if assigned additional duties. Remove trash and debris from interior and exterior areas. Follow company safety procedures and proper equipment handling guidelines. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management. Assist with additional cleaning or facility support tasks as assigned; stocking, ringing register, helping customers, and any other miscellaneous duties assigned by the location manager. Shift Requirements Primarily 3rd shift (overnight) Split 2nd/3rd shift may be required based on workload and operational needs. Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Qualifications & Requirements Previous janitorial, maintenance, or retail experience preferred strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment safely Comfortable working in wet environments and varying temperatures Ability to lift up to 50lbs, and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, shoveling, and pushing wheelbarrows.
