Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner

The Provider must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting. They must have the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment and is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, while maintaining a compassionate and welcome atmosphere. Responsibilities Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined. Lead clinic staff—including X‑ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office specialists—in behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Actively engage with clinical leadership, elevating to management where appropriate, to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns in alignment with company values. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and supervisory physicians. Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable accuracy. Ensure that activities comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Pursue a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret results of diagnostic tests, and responsibly prescribe medications while educating patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality standards. Adhere to the core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team in all necessary manners to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, provide clinic tours, and give an overview of clinic processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training. Support new employee training by providing job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities. Maintain a friendly, cordial work environment with positive relations among customers, co‑workers, and managers. Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified on the physical demands. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and business. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Show proven experience as a telehealth clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month. Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Additional Requirements and Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers Responsible for on‑call duties periodically throughout the year. Additional Requirements and Responsibilities Level 1: New graduate with up to one year of experience as a nurse practitioner. Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over one year but less than five years of experience. Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over five years but less than ten years of experience. Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over ten years of experience. Education and Experience Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). At least one to two years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice is strongly preferred. Current License or Certification License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; if limited by state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice required for DEA. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements needed. DOT certification is required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained during employment.
