Must-Have:
Experience with hemodynamics, able to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
Experience in managing arterial lines, interpreting dysrhythmias, and post-cardiac surgery care.
Experience with cardiac assistive devices and EPIC charting.


Description:
The role involves caring for patients in a cardiovascular intensive care setting.
Patient ratios are 1:1 for ICU and 2:1 for telemetry shifts.
The unit requires staff to float within the cardiac service line as necessary.
Staff members are expected to work 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
Travelers must be willing to work holidays as needed.
Experience with post-operative care, including patients recovering from cardiac surgery, is essential.
The daily census is typically around 3 patients, with 6 beds available.
Interdisciplinary support includes a unit secretary.
Central lines are part of the special procedures performed in the unit.
All travelers are required to comply with facility expectations and standards.
Fit testing is necessary for those with facial hair to ensure proper testing.
No local candidates are accepted within a specific radius.
