Procurement Specialist

About The Position In your position as a procurement specialist at Höganäs, you are responsible for driving procurement initiatives in line with the overall objectives of improving service, ensuring that internal directives and rules are followed and to see to it that pertinent laws regarding occupational health, safety and environment are complied with. You are also responsible for having required permits and certifications in place. Procurement management (including process setup/improvement, services, outsourcing processing, etc.): xecute procurement plans, complete price comparisons and negotiations, contract signing, and order tracking to ensure materials are supplied on time and with quality. Main assignments, responsibilities and authorities In your position as a procurement specialist at Höganäs, you are responsible for driving procurement initiatives in line with the overall objectives of improving service, ensuring that internal directives and rules are followed and to see to it that pertinent laws regarding occupational health, safety and environment are complied with. You are also responsible for having required permits and certifications in place. Procurement management (including process setup/improvement, services, outsourcing processing, etc.): xecute procurement plans, complete price comparisons and negotiations, contract signing, and order tracking to ensure materials are supplied on time and with quality. Manage procurement process documents, collaborate with warehousing and quality inspection departments to complete goods acceptance, warehousing, and handling exceptions (such as returns and claims). Supplier Management: Develop and implement supplier performance evaluation standards. Initiate complaints, promote supplier investigations, and implement corrective measures. Assist supply chain managers with supplier development work. Cost control: Responsible for product supply chain cost accounting and analysis, formulating and implementing cost control strategies, and continuously reducing the total supply chain cost through price negotiation and inventory optimization. Establish a dynamic cost tracking mechanism and promote cost optimization. Researches, negotiates, maintains, and regularly evaluates relationships and contracts with external suppliers so the business has a reliable supply of goods and services that meet its standards of quality, timeliness and cost. Cross-departmental collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, sales and other departments to provide suggestions for product research and development from the perspective of the supply chain, ensure the smooth implementation of products, and jointly promote the realization of the company's overall goals. Digitalization and data management: Promote the digital construction of the supply chain, and use ERP, WMS and other systems to achieve full-link information tracking. Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (such as delivery on-time rate, inventory turnover, etc.) through data means to provide decision-making support for management. Supervision and management List all subordinates by job title and indicate other relevant responsibilities. Please indicate the number of direct subordinates. NA# Knowledge, Capabilities And Motivation Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, logistics and other related majors is preferred. Work experience: 5 years and above procurement experience is required, and a background in the materials manufacturing industry is preferred. Professional skills: proficient in the whole process of procurement, familiar with procurement, production, logistics and other links, with excellent data analysis, business negotiation skills. Language ability: English level 4 or above, proficient in English communication. Personal traits: Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong logical thinking, data analysis and problem-solving skills, good team spirit and pressure resistance.
