Diesel Mechanic

Join our team as a skilled Mechanic responsible for keeping our fleet and equipment running at peak performance. You\'ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of automotive and stationary equipment — including trucks, tractor-trailers, heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, air compressors, and welding equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards. Proactively identify issues and coordinate repairs with the Manager and team. Supervise and guide a Mechanic\'s Helper. Conduct required inspections and complete all maintenance documentation accurately. Respond to road calls and on-site equipment breakdowns as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Follow all safety and environmental regulations; report concerns promptly. Other duties as assigned. Additional Duties Pick up equipment or supplies as needed. Share knowledge by training fellow employees. Provide coverage for colleagues as needed. Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals (fuel, grease, oil). Close proximity to moving mechanical parts. Moderate to loud noise levels. Physical Demands: Must be able to handle heavy materials, including lifting up to 100 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. Frequent reaching, gripping, and pinching.
