Director of Finance

Transdev is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to support our fixed-route transit operations in Las Vegas, NV. This role serves as a key business partner to the General Manager, providing financial leadership, operational insights, and oversight to ensure strong financial performance and compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on financial performance, including interpretation of key metrics and trends Lead the annual budgeting process and support the General Manager with monthly forecasting Develop financial projections to support strategic and operational decision-making Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and local leadership team Partner closely with Corporate Finance (dotted-line reporting relationship) Oversee daily reporting, month-end close, and all required corporate and local reporting Collaborate with leadership to analyze operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement Develop a strong understanding of key profitability drivers within the operation Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting Oversee financial aspects of capital projects, procurement, audits, and contracts Lead and ensure compliance with the DBE Program, including goal attainment Oversee all fare revenue collection and reporting processes Maintain accurate financial records and strong internal controls Prepare required financial reports for state, federal, and local agencies Perform additional duties as assigned Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
