Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller with logistics, transportation or fleet management experience. We are working with a growing and dynamic company located in Lakeland FL. They need someone who can take over the day to day accounting and provide financial reporting. This person will report directly to the leadership to provide financial oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting processes
- Complete month end close in accordance with GAAP
- Coordinate the approval process for all loans and lines of credit
- Finacial Reporting, Dashboards, KPI
- Oversee the flow of cash
- Review costs for optimal budget planning
- Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures
- Working experience with trucking, hauling brokerage, transportation logistics or fleet management.
Qualifications:
- CPA Preferred
- B.S. Accounting
- Team Leadership - Mentor & Develop
- Work in multiple capacities and help drive growth of business
- Ability to work under pressure
