Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 92109)

Pay Rate: $30–$34 per hour

Assignment Length: 1-year W2 assignment (with potential to extend or convert)

Position Overview

On behalf of our client, a San Diego-based public utility company, we are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Coordinator III to support daily operations, customer service activities, and special utility-related projects. This role plays a key part in coordinating services, supporting cross-functional teams, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls related to utility services, including service sign-ups, documentation requirements, and scheduling.
\n
• Coordinate day-to-day activities for cross-functional team members within the Customer Service Department.
\n
• Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
\n
• Assist with service request tracking, data entry, and maintenance of customer records.
\n
• Prepare and update reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using MS Excel and Word.
\n
• Support special projects and process improvements as assigned.
\n
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, timelines, and service-level expectations.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 2–4 years of experience as a Service Coordinator or Customer Service Representative
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
\n
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
