Machinist II-Robotics

Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Machinist II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II is responsible for performing machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary. This position provides training to lower-level machinists. This position may be available on Third Shift (9:30PM – 6:00AM) with a base pay range of $23/hr – 30/hr. plus .75 cent shift differential pay and mandatory overtime as needed. $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) What you will do Operate machine according to standard operating instructions Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP) Set up the robots in various parts Load and unload visually inspected parts Understand work orders and routings Follow all environmental, health, & safety EHS policies and procedures including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Daily 5S/housekeeping What we require High school diploma or equivalent Extensive experience in operating, setups, tool changes, etc. Ability to operate/run multiple machines simultaneously Ability to perform advanced quality inspections Professional communication skills Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
