Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic Emergency Department and Urgent Care team serving a rural health system in west-central Minnesota. This position offers a unique blend of ED, walk-in clinic, and inpatient support work with strong autonomy, flexibility, and system-wide coverage opportunities.

Role Highlights:

• Provide ED coverage in a rural emergency department with tele-support backup (Avel system in place)
• Manage low-to-moderate acuity emergency cases (average ESI 3.5) with 3 4 patient encounters per shift
• Deliver urgent care services across walk-in clinic settings
• Support inpatient care as needed, including hospitalist, swing bed, and observation patients
• Work in a high-autonomy environment with strong system-wide flexibility across ED and urgent care sites
• Serve as a key clinical resource in rural emergency and acute care delivery

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Current or eligible Minnesota licensure and DEA
• Active ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care strongly required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $120K $140K annually
