About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Strategic Operations to play a pivotal role in the management and coordination of internal operations and program execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing workflows, and enhancing day-to-day operational processes to ensure that cross-team work is organized, consistent, and well-supported. This includes overseeing logistics and coordination to meet the organization's strategic goals. The role demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years' of experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations, who can demonstrate a strong background in supervising staff and managing operational and logistical functions. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director of Strategic Operations at the company include managing and supervising staff, overseeing operational workflows, and coordinating across teams to support the smooth execution of programs. The role also involves supporting managers and staff with planning, scheduling, and workload management, as well as partnering with finance and operations leadership to monitor budgets and support financial controls. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting budgets, grants, compliance, and operational coordination, and will be adept at preparing internal operational reports and summaries. Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
