Vice President and Executive Director, Bank Loan Operations About the Company Leading financial services company specializing in investment banking, securities, & financial management services Industry Investment Banking Type Public Company About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Bank Debt Operations, a senior leader embedded on the trading desk to oversee the full lifecycle of bank debt transactions and post-close loan operations. This role is pivotal in partnering with Traders and Portfolio Managers to ensure efficient execution, active portfolio management, and disciplined risk control across various credit products. The successful candidate will be responsible for balancing front-office responsiveness with operational discipline, serving as a strategic advisor, and maintaining a strong control environment. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary operational partner, translating complex credit documentation, leading the bank debt operations function, and driving technology enhancements and process improvements. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced financial certification preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in bank debt operations, loan trading operations, or credit operations within a relevant financial institution. The role requires deep expertise in syndicated loan trading and settlement, credit agreements, and a strong working knowledge of loan and trading systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in high-pressure, transaction-driven environments, and be commercially minded, detail-oriented, decisive, and highly responsive. The SVP will also be responsible for managing operational risk, escalations, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and must be adept at serving as a key liaison across internal teams and external counterparties.
