They require mentorship, coaching, encouragement, and leadership that is present in the day-to-day realities of the work. The Role We are seeking a Staff Development & Training Coordinator who is passionate about helping people succeed and committed to building a workplace where staff feel welcomed, supported, valued, and empowered. This position plays a critical role in supporting the growth, development, and success of the people who care for our youth every day. Through onboarding, coaching, mentorship, training, and real‑time support, the Staff Development & Training Coordinator helps staff develop the confidence, judgment, professionalism, and skills needed to thrive in a challenging and deeply meaningful environment. This role is about more than training. It is about building community. The Staff Development & Training Coordinator serves as a visible and engaged leader who helps create an environment where employees feel welcomed, supported, valued, connected, and equipped to succeed. The position plays an important role in staff retention, workforce development, program culture, and the creation of a positive, trauma‑informed workplace where people can grow both personally and professionally. Schedule: Alternating weekly schedule based on orientation training During orientation training week: Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 (with some flexibility) Non-training weeks: Monday & Tuesday, 10:00-6:00 Wednesday, 9:00-5:00; 1st Wednesday of the month, 2:00-10:00 PM Thursday, 10:00-6:00 Friday, 12:00-8:00 One weekend day per month (minimum of 5 hours) Rotating schedule of Administrative On-Callin Our Talent Community Stevens Treatment Programs is an equal opportunity employer.
