- Provider must reside locally in the immediate area
- Primary coverage in Morehead City
- May also provide coverage in Wilmington, Leland, and Kinston
- No call required
- Active North Carolina License - Required
- Must already hold active NC license
- Active North Carolina DEA - Required
- BLS - Required
- Board Certified - Required
- NCCPA Certification (PA) or NP Board Certification - Required
- PA Certification or Family NP Certification - Required
- DOT Certification
- PALS
- ACLS
- Epic
- Minimum 12 months of Urgent Care experience required
- Must have experience treating both adults and pediatric patients (6 months+)
- Must be comfortable as a sole provider
- Must be able to manage high-volume patient care
- New graduates will not be considered
- Urgent Care evaluation and treatment
- Adult and pediatric patient care
- Incision and Drainage (I&D)
- Laceration Repairs
- Ear Irrigations
- Other minor urgent care procedures
- Urgent Care Center
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff Includes:
- Center Manager
- Medical Assistant
- Patient Services Associate
- Off-site Supervising Physician (APP support)
- Up to 60 patients per day depending on site
- Average volume approximately 40 patients per day
- Fellowship Required
- Must maintain a positive, patient-focused approach while managing high-volume care
