Heavy Duty Truck Service TechnicianDePaula Chevrolet is seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Duty Truck Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty trucks. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high quality repairs in a safe and efficient manner. If you meet the qualifications and are ready to grow your career, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty trucks.Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service.Repair and service engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering and suspension components, and drive train systems.Inspect, repair, and replace wheels, tires, axles, and related components.Diagnose and repair accelerator, fuel, and throttle control systems.Perform brake inspections and repairs in accordance with manufacturers and safety standards.Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.Follow all company safety policies and manufacturer repair procedures.Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year of heavy-duty truck service technician experience required.Valid NYS driver license and clean driving abstract.Experience with engine diagnostics and repair.NY Inspector license.Ability to operate diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Able to lift 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.Preferred Qualifications:Commercial truck dealership or fleet maintenance experience.Diesel engine experience.CDL and ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications are a plus but not required.What We Offer:Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.401(K) with company contribution.Life Insurance.Sick and Vacation PTO.Paid Holidays.Full-time, stable employment.Opportunities for training and career advancement.Positive, team-oriented work environment.Employee discounts.Compensation:Flat Rate, $30.00 to $50.00 per hour depending on experience.Weekly PayAbout the Company:DePaula Chevrolet is a trusted name in automotive sales and service, dedicated to providing outstanding customer experiences.
