Program/Location: Adult Outpatient Program, Enfield CT

About The Program: The Adult Outpatient services provide psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Services include assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clinical Management and Services
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, ongoing treatment and medication reviews.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with community health organizations and outside medical and psych services to ensure coordination of client care
  • Participates in case conferences/consultations, as required.
  • Works with program supervisors to oversee client treatment plans.
  • Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
• Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
  • Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education: M.D. Board certified or eligible in adult or child psychiatry.

Experience: Experience in adult or child psychiatry. Community mental health experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: CT license; Board Certified preferred, eligible required. Board Certified or eligible in child psychiatry for practice with children.
