Details Night shift schedule from 7:00P to 7:30A on a 13-week assignment Works in ICU and Step-Down ICU units, including CVICU, CCU, and Neuro ICU Float to Step-Down ICU required Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting Requirements Active IL RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification required COVID-19 vaccination required for consideration Additional Information Utilizes the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients Administers prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care Documents patient care according to established standards Develops, initiates, and executes individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including patient and family education Participates in unit performance improvement activities, potentially including shared governance Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of patients' longitudinal care plans Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command American Traveler Job ID P-747750.
