Confidential Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated RN or LPN Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.

Position Overview

As Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit while ensuring the highest standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance.

You will serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary leadership team, partnering with nursing, therapy, social services, and administration to support positive resident outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical oversight of an assigned nursing unit

• Lead, coach, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care

• Monitor resident conditions and coordinate care planning initiatives

• Promote regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards

• Conduct audits, investigations, and performance improvement activities

• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, and employee development

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Virginia

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience required

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations

• Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills

• Ability to effectively lead and motivate clinical teams
