Director of Enterprise IT

Position Summary

The Sr. Director of Information Technology will build and lead Solidaire’s enterprise IT function, consolidating disparate systems across acquired operating companies into a unified, scalable, secure, and AI‐enabled technology environment. This leader will drive modernization, automation, and digital transformation across the organization, ensuring technology accelerates integration, improves decision‐making, and enhances workforce productivity.

This role partners directly with the PE forward‐deployed engineering team to architect, deploy, and operationalize enterprise technology solutions that support Solidaire’s long‐term growth and Percheron’s innovation strategy.

The Sr. Director of IT owns the full lifecycle of technology integration for a high‐volume acquisition environment (more than 10 per year) and is responsible for enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, and centralized IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Technology Strategy & Architecture

• Develop and execute Solidaire’s enterprise IT roadmap aligned with growth, integration, and operational priorities.
• Define and enforce technology standards, system architecture, and security protocols across all operating companies.
• Lead consolidation of legacy systems into a centralized tech stack (ERP, CRM, HRIS, WFM, cybersecurity tools, cloud platforms).
• Partner directly with PE forward‐deployed engineering team to design and deploy scalable enterprise solutions.
• Ensure all technology decisions support scalability, data integrity, and long‐term enterprise value creation.

AI, Automation & Digital Workforce Enablement:

• Lead evaluation, selection, and deployment of AI‐driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, workforce productivity, and decision‐making.
• Partner with Operations, HR, Finance, Integration, and Percheron engineering to identify automation opportunities (workflow orchestration, predictive analytics, intelligent document processing, AI‐supported onboarding).
• Build and govern Solidaire’s AI adoption framework, ensuring responsible use, data integrity, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
• Implement AI‐enabled workforce tools (intelligent scheduling, automated knowledge management, predictive maintenance, digital assistants).
• Modernize legacy environments using automation, cloud migration, and intelligent platforms.

Integration & Acquisition Technology Leadership:

• Own the technology workstream for all acquisitions, from diligence through full integration.
• Assess incoming IT environments, risks, and gaps; design integration plans for infrastructure, applications, data, and security.
• Ensure seamless onboarding of acquired companies into Solidaire’s centralized systems with minimal disruption.
• Lead technology integration for a high‐volume acquisition cadence exceeding 10 companies per year .
• Partner with cross‐functional leaders and Percheron engineering to accelerate integration timelines and reduce operational friction.

Enterprise Data & Intelligence:

• Establish enterprise data standards and governance to support AI models, analytics, and automation.
• Build dashboards, insights, and predictive tools that support operational, financial, and workforce decision‐making.
• Ensure all operating companies integrate into a unified data architecture that supports machine learning and advanced analytics.

IT Operations & Infrastructure:

• Oversee enterprise infrastructure (network, servers, cloud, endpoints, identity access, security).
• Build a centralized helpdesk and support model with SLAs, escalation paths, and proactive service delivery.
• Implement monitoring, patching, and maintenance programs to ensure uptime, reliability, and security.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

• Establish and maintain Solidaire’s cybersecurity framework, including vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and data protection requirements.
• Partner with leadership to manage enterprise risk and strengthen security posture across all operating companies.

Vendor & Contract Management:

• Manage all IT vendors, contracts, renewals, and performance.
• Lead RFPs, negotiate pricing, and consolidate vendors to reduce cost and complexity.
• Oversee relationships with key partners, including ContinueServe and strategic technology providers.

Enterprise Program Management:

• Lead centralized IT programs (device management, identity access, cloud modernization, security hardening, automation initiatives).
• Implement governance processes for change management, system updates, and new technology deployments.
• Ensure all programs support enterprise scalability and integration consistency.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Build and lead a high‐performing IT team across infrastructure, support, cybersecurity, and integration.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and development paths.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, service excellence, and proactive problem‐solving.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in multi‐site, multi‐entity, or PE‐backed environments.
• Proven experience consolidating disparate systems into a centralized enterprise stack.
• Strong background in infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and vendor management.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI‐enabled solutions, automation tools, and modern workforce technologies.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, governance, and requirements for AI model deployment.
• Experience leading technology integration for acquisitions.
• Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions for field technicians, office staff, and leadership teams.
