Position Overview: The Receiving Team Leader oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of the receiving area, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely execution of freight flow to the sales floor. Responsibilities include managing back stock, disposition of damaged goods, and maintaining a safe, orderly dock.

Primary Responsibilities: Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments; receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments; manage freight flow, confirm accuracy of incoming merchandise, prepare and process outbound transfers, direct work of other associates, and act as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, minimum 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer, schedule flexibility, ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks, positive attitude, and ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
