Behavioral Special Education Teacher - Elementary
$58 - $62 per hourArdor Health Solutions
Job Summary: Elementary School Special Education Teacher (Grades 3-5)
- Full-time role (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026-2027 school year
- Work with approximately 13 students exhibiting behavioral challenges, some non-verbal
- Focus on teaching basic skills and functional routines
- Classroom support: 4 instructional assistants
- Responsible for implementing IEPs, lesson planning, and collaborating with faculty and parents
- Engage with students using strong interpersonal and connection skills
- Requires previous experience in special education (resource, self-contained, 1:1, or with externalizing behaviors)
- Must have a bachelor's degree in education (special education focus), completed an approved preparation program, and hold a valid Oregon special education teaching license
- Pay rate: $58-62/hour (W-2), based on experience
- Weekly pay (every Friday)
