About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have Med Surg Tele experience. Candidates must have Meditech experience. Description: Must be located 50+ miles from the facility. The unit includes 36 beds with a staff of 32. Staffing consists of one Charge Nurse, six nurses (RN/LPN mix), three techs, and one secretary on day shift. Night shift staffing is similar, with one Charge Nurse and six nurses. Patient ratios are 6 to 1. Equipment used in the unit includes EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry. Typical procedures performed include heart catheterizations. Candidates with strong time management and critical thinking skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, be friendly, and be helpful. Every other weekend commitment is required, or two full weekends per month.
