Position Overview:

A growing regional insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join its expanding team. With established industry specialties in Commercial Real Estate, Construction, Habitational, Healthcare, and Manufacturing, this organization provides the expertise, resources, and market access needed for top producers to build long-term client relationships and grow a profitable book of business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional who thrives on developing new business, serving as a trusted advisor, and delivering customized risk management and insurance solutions. Producers are supported by a dedicated service team, marketing resources, carrier relationships, and operational infrastructure that allow them to focus on business development and client retention.

What You'll Do as a Commercial Insurance Producer:

• Develop and execute strategies to build a profitable commercial insurance book of business.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
• Conduct risk assessments and uncover exposures through a consultative needs-analysis process
• Present customized insurance and risk management solutions that align with client objectives.
• Partner with internal service, marketing, and underwriting teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Maintain regular client communication to support retention and account growth.
• Leverage cross-selling opportunities across multiple lines of coverage and services.
• Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, coverage enhancements, and emerging risks.
  Commercial Insurance Producer Duties Include:
  Business Development
• Prospect and generate new commercial insurance opportunities.
• Establish a strong network of referral sources and centers of influence.
• Develop relationships within targeted industry verticals.
• Meet or exceed annual sales and revenue objectives.
  Client Consultation & Risk Management
• Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews and risk assessments.
• Analyze coverage needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Present proposals and negotiate terms with prospective clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle.
  Book of Business Growth & Retention
• Build, manage, and retain a profitable portfolio of commercial clients.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and account retention.
• Identify opportunities for account rounding and revenue growth.
• Support renewal strategy and long-term relationship management.
  Team Collaboration
• Work closely with account managers, service teams, and marketing specialists.
• Collaborate with carrier partners to secure competitive coverage solutions.
• Utilize internal resources and support teams to deliver exceptional service.
