Austin, TX 78751 (Texas Remote; prefer the Austin metro area)

6 months Contract with possibility to extension

4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams.

Understands the user’s view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.

Provides expertise on technical concepts of applications and/or user groups and structuring procedures in a logical sequence, due to a broad understanding of the applications.

Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.

May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.

Years - Required/Preferred - Experience

4 - Required - Experience working with relational database management systems and Oracle PL/SQL.

4 - Required - Experience providing technical documentation for the purpose of designing a Data Dictionary.

4 - Required - Experience organizing and formatting technical documentation.

4 - Required - Experience creating documentation that meets the standards set with the WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508.

4 - Required - Skills with Microsoft Office tools- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.

4 - Required - Experience creating workflows for the purpose of technical documentation.

1 - Preferred - Preferred experience reviewing existing technical documentation and providing recommendations for improvements.

1 - Preferred - Preferred experience providing training on all process documentation.

1 - Preferred - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

1 - Preferred - Ability to communicate in a technical environment.
