Job Title: Import Designer Location: Los Angeles, CA / On-site Job Type: Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Import Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for current fashion trends, deep knowledge of garment construction, and proven experience managing the production lifecycle from initial concept to final delivery in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Collection & Trend Development: Create new seasonal collections, color palettes, print selections, and original concepts aligned with upcoming fashion trends. Production Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end production process of designs, tracking progress from proto samples to final delivery and following up as needed. Fit & Technical Execution: Attend all fit sessions, review sample construction, and ensure design specs and garment technical details are accurately executed. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal production and design team members, as well as overseas vendors, to maintain quality and meet tight delivery deadlines. Qualifications Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional design experience in import fashion/apparel. Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in fashion trends, garment construction, specifications, and offshore manufacturing processes. Attributes: Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and structured in a fast-paced work environment. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface effectively with internal teams and offshore partners.
