Job description for Front Desk Sales and Service Representative

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns
- Upsell gym amenities and services to enhance member experience
- Handle member requests promptly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of member information and transactions
- Assist with gym sales process, tours and personal training appointments
- Process payments using POS systems or cash registers
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
- Ensure the front desk area and gym floor are clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout entire shift

Sales Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all lead funnels
• Maintain Prospective Members Database
• Work with a comprehensive datatbase to categorize and followup with all leads

Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service and sales (required) and in fitness (preferred)
- Ability for handling payments and transactions
- Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and proactively
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of high-end customer service and basic fitness is desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems and software is an advantage

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $19.29 per hour 

Expected hours: 25-30 hours per week

Shift: 4:45 - 9:00 am Monday through Friday, weekends as needed (this is an openning shift)

Work Location: In person
