Maintenance Technician Lvl II

Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant's operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $33.42

Shift: Evenings 6:00pm - 6:00am

(training on 1st shift 6am-6pm 4-8 weeks @ $32.92/hr)

What's the Job?

• Ensure plant production systems are maintained and operational at all times.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on machinery and equipment.

• Work collaboratively with team members and vendors to resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

• Assist in preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manuals to support maintenance tasks.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant maintenance or technical field or a technical degree.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environments, including experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Frequency Drives, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Servo Motors, Refrigeration (NH3), Boilers, and HVAC systems.

• Experience in food manufacturing, sanitary design, and knowledge of SIX SIGMA techniques such as 5-S is a plus.

• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.

• Ability to work flexible shifts and maintain records in an organized manner.
