Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician (Temporary) Location: South Bend, IN Salary: $74,880 | Multiple Shifts Available (2nd, 3rd) We are hiring a skilled Electrical Technician for a temporary role supporting industrial maintenance and production operations. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance . Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, HMIs, and drives Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and prints Use testing equipment (multimeters, etc.) to verify system performance Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records Collaborate with production teams and external contractors to ensure uptime Qualifications 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience Strong knowledge of PLCs, control wiring, and AC/DC drives Ability to read electrical drawings and understand NEC standards Proficiency with electrical testing tools and Windows-based systemsStrong troubleshooting and communication skills Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts Preferred Associate degree in Electrical or Industrial Technology, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience Shifts Available 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD & D Insurance Advantage Technical is an equal opportunity employer.
