Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate must have recent specialty experience, ARDMS certification, and Cerner experience.
Assignment Details
- Position: Ultrasound Technologist
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
- Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Charting System: Cerner
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- ARDMS Certification
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound experience
- Cerner experience
Holiday Requirements
Candidate must work:
- 2 major holidays from:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
AND
- 1 minor holiday from:
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Properly document procedures and patient information in Cerner .
- Follow appropriate infection control and patient-care standards.
