About the Position

Experience with NG tubes, chest tubes, Foley catheters, and TURPs. Knowledge of respiratory issues, diabetes management, sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, rib fractures, altered mental status, and pain management. Great customer service and patient experience skills. Description: This position involves working in a surgical inpatient unit. The facility is a level III trauma center. It provides healthcare services to a broad community. The hospital features state-of-the-art operating suites. Employees will care for adult patients ranging in age from 18 to 100+. The patient ratio is 1:6 maximum. Common diagnoses include a mixture of medical and surgical patients. Equipment used includes IV pumps and vital signs monitors. Electronic health records are managed through Cerner. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Travelers are expected to follow all policies and guidelines. This position aims to contribute positively to patient care and experience.
