The nurse will be responsible for providing care to geriatric and adult patients. Common diagnoses include end-stage renal disease, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis. The facility is a level III trauma center with various healthcare services. The nurse will work in a unit with 24 beds and will manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6. Preferred skills include previous experience in a nephrology unit and charge nurse experience. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills. Team collaboration and a commitment to high-quality patient care are essential. Experience in an observation unit is a plus. Equipment used includes vital signs machines, bladder scanners, lifts, and IV pumps. Electronic health record systems are employed for patient documentation.
