Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and treatment requirements.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to address specific impairments.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans based on their responses and outcomes.
• Engage collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and wellness strategies to promote sustained health and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and adhere to industry standards, maintaining a high level of professional integrity.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
