Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is a busy, state-of-the-art facility where you'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to establish baseline data and tailored treatment needs.
• Design and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans, focusing on enhancing strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced equipment utilization, to efficiently address diverse physical impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans based on observed outcomes and changing patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to address all aspects of a patient's health, ensuring cohesive and effective care.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies to foster ongoing health and recovery.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and maintain high professional standards in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Oasis Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with adult and geriatric populations, often assisting patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from injuries. Your expertise will directly address the varying physical challenges faced by these patients, reinforcing their ability to regain comfort and independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are encouraged.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities necessary for effective collaboration and patient interaction.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
