Job Summary: Provides assistance to the nurses in the Telemetry units with interpretation of cardiac rhythms of patients under the direct supervision of a nurse.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have completed a rhythm recognition course approved by the facility.
• Required: Medical Assistant, CNA or equivalent education/training.
• Preferred: EMT (B,I or P)
• Current BLS
• Six (6) months to one (1) year previous acute care experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
