For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: Summary The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for always cleaning all areas of the facility, understanding basic tasks with a sense of urgency to provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests. The Stewarding Supervisor will wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans and supervise all other aspects of the dishwashing and sanitation operation. The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for the training of all steward staff. The Stewarding Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. Essential Job Duties Responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of the steward staff. Displays knowledge of dishwashing and sanitation skills and teaches others proper techniques. Follow proper procedures for dishwashing, including but not limited to washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using steward or by hand. Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in clean and orderly condition. Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests. Conducts regular inspections of all locations to assure cleanliness and maintenance meet company standards. Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Responsible for consulting with Sanitation Manager and Sanitation Coordinator to maintain clean workspaces. Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to supervise stewarding staff. Able to operate standard dishwashing equipment. Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations. Education, Qualifications, and Experience Previous experience working in a supervisory capacity in a kitchen required. Must be at least 21 years of age Must have and maintain a valid Washington State Food Handling Permit Apply to Levy today!
