The Project Manager II, Continuous Improvement is part of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team and will play a critical role within Lennar Technology Group (LTG), partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, drive, and sustain process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, scalability, transparency, and delivery effectiveness.The goal of the OpEx team is to solve real process problems quickly while building a repeatable, standing capability. The Project Manager II, Continuous Improvement is a cross-trained member of this team who rotates across three disciplines: Process & Lean, Performance & CI, and Standards & Sustainment. Every improvement cycle uses all three, so each win is diagnosed, measured, and standardized rather than only delivered.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcess & LeanFacilitate process-mapping sessions, Kaizen bursts, and workshops with process owners and cross-functional teams (business, technology, architecture, PMO, testing, and vendors)Document current-state and future-state workflows and finalize the future-state processIdentify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and dependencies that affect delivery outcomesPerformance & CIPull and analyze operational data to establish baselines, run root-cause analysis, and prioritize fixesTag candidate savings as hard cost, cost avoidance, or capacity so results can be validated by Finance; flag metrics with no data source and instrument a proxy or reclassify as qualitativeValidate gains with before/after data, and define measurement strategy and dashboard requirements that support leadership decisions, partnering with BI resources on executive-level viewsStandards & SustainmentTurn validated improvements into SOPs and publish them to the Process Governance & Standards libraryTrain process owners and drive adoption of new processes and tools; schedule and run sustainment reviewsOwn and maintain the CI team repository, including templates, playbooks, engagement artifacts, and institutional knowledge, to support team scalability and continuityTeam and CapabilityRotate through all three lead roles and cross-train teammates so no one person is a single point of failureDocument and refine the cycle method after each engagement so the next one runs fasterManage day-to-day relationships with process owners and SMEs within a cycle; escalate to the OpEx Manager for a missing or unwilling process owner, unresolved cross-functional conflict, decisions beyond team authority, or stakeholder sessions that keep slippingSupport the OpEx Manager with wins communication, visibility, and intake by contributing results, findings, and recommendations that inform leadership prioritization of the backlogIdentify Digitize or Automate needs and route them to the Long-Term Project frameworkBalance cycle work with business-as-usual responsibilities within the team's protected-time commitmentsContribute to longer-term enablement, including a process-owner certification ladder and an LTG community of practiceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, PMO, or related disciplinesRequired: hands-on Lean experience, demonstrated by Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred) or by leading Kaizen events, process mapping, and root-cause analysisWorking-level skill in all three disciplines: facilitation and future-state design; data analysis, baselining, and before/after validation; and SOP authoring, training, and sustainmentExperience quantifying benefits and distinguishing hard cost, cost avoidance, and capacity, ideally with Finance validationExperience supporting enterprise technology organizations and cross-functional initiativesAbility to deliver within a time-boxed cycle, manage more than one initiative at a time, and escalate using defined triggersWillingness to cross-train, coach others, and rotate rolesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with tools such as Lucid, GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Power BI is preferredPlus: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, Agile, or other CI certifications; understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodsPreferred SkillsProcess optimization and standardizationRoot-cause analysis and data-driven decision makingSavings quantification and KPI developmentSOP development and training deliveryCross-functional facilitationRisk and dependency managementWhat Success Looks LikeImproved operational efficiency and reduced delivery bottlenecks across LTGIncreased standardization and governance maturity across processes and workflowsStrong partnership and support for enterprise CI initiatives and strategic transformation effortsEnhanced visibility into organizational health, delivery metrics, and continuous improvement outcomesScalable and sustainable process improvements that support LTG growth and enterprise prioritiesWhy Join Lennar Technology GroupAt Lennar, we are committed to innovation, operational excellence, and building scalable solutions that drive business value.
