Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a complex medical unit managing conditions such as complicated UTI, pneumonia, sepsis, pancreatitis, and altered mental status
• Care for patients requiring tracheostomy management, PEG tubes, and peritoneal dialysis
• Perform IV starts and PICC line management as part of routine patient care
• Conduct neurological assessments utilizing the NIHSS scale
• Support research unit activities for a portion of the monthly schedule, including observation and monitoring of research study participants
• Transition between research unit assignments and complex medical patient care within the same schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong Medical/Surgical nursing skills and clinical background
• Proficiency in tracheostomy care
• Competency in NIHSS assessment
• IV start and PICC line management experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with peritoneal dialysis
• Prior exposure to research or clinical trial nursing environments
