Payroll Specialist

We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal well-being: Medical, dental, and vision benefits at first of the month after hire 401k with Match Paid Time off Ongoing professional and career development About the Role As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while supporting cross-functional teams: Responsibilities Process employee salaries, wages, and compensation accurately and on time Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Maintain and reconcile employee payroll data, including tax withholdings, benefits, 401(k), and direct deposits Update employee records, including promotions, transfers, and terminations Prepare and submit payroll tax reports and other compliance-related documentation Administer employee benefits and payroll-related deductions Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries Generate and analyze bi-weekly reports for extra compensation in the Service Department Review and process internal tickets related to additional compensation Partner with the Service Department to reconcile discrepancies and ensure timely resolution Provide payroll data to support budgeting and forecasting activities Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for auditing purposes Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information Support employment verifications, wage audits, unemployment, workers' compensation, and garnishment requests Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination Contribute to aligning payroll processes with organizational goals Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of experience in payroll and accounting Required Skills Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements Experience with SAP preferred Experience with ADP Advanced proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage confidential information with integrity Proficient level in English and Spanish Pay range and compensation package Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity. #J-18808-Ljbffr Anonima
