Dental Assistant (DA)

Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health care organization whose mission is to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. Our service area covers 14 counties, from the front range to the Kansas border, with locations throughout Colorado Springs, Fountain, Divide, Limon, and Strasburg. Peak Vista is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). Compensation (Pay) $21.43 to $31.07 per hour based on experience. A $1000 sign on bonus will be paid in the following manner:

• 300 payout upon 30 days of employment.
• 300 payout upon 90 days of employment.
• 400 payout upon one year of employment*.

*Current employees are not eligible for the sign on bonus. Loyalty Bonus - $1200 upon 1 year of service and then a $300 payout for every additional 3 months worked. This applies to only FT employees. The amount will be prorated for PT employees. Performs reception, chair-side assisting, inventory and dental records duties. Responsibilities Assisting with amalgam and resin restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, reception, chair-side assisting, inventory management, and maintaining dental records. Qualifications High School graduate or GED required. Graduate from dental assistant school preferred. Dental certification required or a minimum of 3 yrs of experience as a chair-side Dental Assistant. EDDA certificate desired but not required. Current CPR certification required. X-ray certification required. Previous dental assistant experience desired, but not required. Bi-lingual preferred .
