Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 Organization The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is a founder‑owned organization and one of the world’s largest providers of applied behavior analysis (ABA) services. CARD has locations throughout the United States and focuses on delivering individualized, evidence‑based treatment for individuals of all ages diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. 27502 Avenue Scott, Suite A, Santa Clarita, California 91355 Position Overview The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee. Responsibilities include assessment and analysis of patient skills and challenging behaviors, development and maintenance of treatment plans, supervision of treatment implementation, collaboration and training with caregivers, and ongoing coaching and training of behavioral technicians. Treatment plans may be delivered in various settings, including the CARD center, patients' homes, schools, communities, or via telehealth. The Clinical Supervisor reports to the Group Clinical Manager and is a salaried, exempt, full‑time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans Ensure all supervision hours are 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to determine their function Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity and adjust protocols based on data Direct behavior technicians in implementing new or revised treatment protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Support technicians physically within the center and follow best observation practices Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward goals Update treatment plans monthly based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month (including supervisory and therapy hours) Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Incorporate caregiver collaboration through consistent meetings Engage with payers for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews, etc.) Stay updated on ABA best practices to ensure clinical excellence Maintain documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Create a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Partner with center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate, with strict confidentiality standards Collaborative, positive, solution‑focused attitude Independent problem‑solving and clinical judgment Excellent verbal and written communication Strong time‑management skills for fast‑paced, changing environments Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook; adaptable to new systems and iPads Desire for continuous learning and skill development Willingness to work in varied locations (center, home, school, etc.) Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Pass tuberculosis test Fluent English, both written and verbal Work Environment Treatment may occur in a variety of settings including patients' homes, the CARD center, schools, community locations, or via telehealth. The Clinical Supervisor may work indoors and outdoors and may move between locations throughout the workday. Environments may involve loud or excessive noise at times.
