Academic Clinician - Full-Time or Part-Time

Our organization is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become a part of the Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Training Program Clinic, located at the Flint campus of the College of Human Medicine.

This role encompasses responsibilities in both outpatient clinic and inpatient environments.

The ideal candidate should be board-certified or board-eligible (if currently in training) in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. This academic role includes teaching resident physicians and engaging as an active faculty member within the residency program.

Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and technological skills, along with a readiness to serve an urban population.

This position qualifies for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness.

Our facility utilizes Epic EMR and has been recognized as the top Smart Hospital in the state.

Academic Appointment

Faculty members at our organization may seek an academic appointment with the College of Human Medicine at a rank that reflects their experience.

• Clinic Location: Our family clinic is situated on the top floor of the Hurley Medical Office Building, which is connected to the main hospital and Children’s Hospital. The nearby Flint Farmers’ Market features the Pediatric clinic and offers access to fresh produce, bakeries, restaurants, and shopping. The Flint Cultural Center is a notable landmark, reflecting the area’s history as the former largest General Motors complex globally.
